That does look nice. The aesthetics look better than 15mm with the hub-to-hub thing, but I see that happening even in this guy's game. I really think it is a gamer thing to do that! You can get some really big games in with a 6' by 4' table in 6mm. The big sell to me with 6mm is that a platoon/company of 5 vehicles costs as much as about one vehicle in 15mm. That makes Team Yankee much more affordable.

I hate the trees that I've seen in 6mm though. They are too small and look junky to me, but those 10mm trees…humm. Interesting. I might have to try that out.

However I do love my 15mm toys. Something to chew on.

Yeah, that's the problem, isn't it?

A huge part of the draw for me is the 15mm models. 6mm may look good and make the scale more believable, but – 15mm T-64s!

The good: No shoulder-to-shoulder "tank parking lot" as you would see in 15mm TY.

The bad: 6mm are very small and lack the visual impact of 15mm.

The ugly: I just don't like tanks on bases, sorry.

I suppose it's easier to move around that way.

The bases are still about as close together as the 15mm models would be.

Remember that 4" in FoW is ~50 meters (pistol/SMG range), so a 15mm T34 tank is 25m long on the ground!

I do agree that the bases are kinda jarring, though.

Where's the infantry? I like infantry.
