I'm 23 minutes into the film and Donald Pleasence is already driving me nuts.

I need to count how many times he asks for tea or mentions tea. Maybe that will keep me awake.

Fairly realistic for the English. My father couldn't go more than a couple of hours without a cup of tea. I'd probably have four or five a day. Plus coffee.

Cheers,

Not really my cup of tea … err … meat …

Even though they're freaky, the women in the posters have nice figures.

Four or five cups of tea a day?

Wow. I remember when my parents were young and drank that many cups of coffee per day. So,estimes more. They were always in a rush. No wonder. Now they're becoming more like me, with only one or two a day.

The movie took way too long to get going. Just mundane stuff, or maybe the actors were trying too hard. Anyway, I recorded it, so I might try it again later. I thought it was a horror flick. Aren't horror flicks supposed to catch your attention early on?

Hmmm, prequel to Morlocks and Eloi? Books? We have books.

I found it to be a pretty good movie. Yes, it starts a little slow, but it picks up. And at least we are spared scenes of Donald Pleasence's restroom breaks from drinking all that tea… ;-)

Lol. In that case, I'll finish watching it tonight. :)

Finally watched the rest. That was a weird movie, but probably more due to the way it was filmed. It was the 70s after all.

The "Making Of" feature on the DVD filled in some of the not-so-obvious details and background. Now that I think of it, this was one of Donald Pleasence's better roles I've seen him in. Pulled it off really well… ;-)

"Mind the doors!" I'm gonna remember that line for a long time. :)

We went to a Long Horn Steakhouse last night for dinner. I got a filet medium with a little pink in the middle. Topped with a crab cake. The only thing I eat raw is Sushi !
