The defining factors in the look of this collection center on three movies (one of which began as a TV series): Firefly/Serenity, Star Wars/A New Hope, and Blade Runner. The idea to focus this collection around a spaceport on the rim of the Verse came from the pilot episode for Firefly and a place called Eavesdown Docks on the planet of Persephone. It is a place that is a mix of peoples and cultures. The diorama style gallery that grew out of this is built on two 5 ft. x 7 ft. tables… one the commercial docking area, open-air market and town and the second the associated military base. The collection also includes two interiors: a spaceship interior and a cantina. I've provided some sample pictures in the hope that they will encourage you to go to my website and see the entire gallery (113 pictures). If you decide to click on the link I have provided, it will take you to my gallery page. Once there scroll down the page. Each of my galleries is identified by a picture and a title. Since this is my most recent gallery, it will be the last gallery on the page (bottom right). The process of scrolling down the page will take you only a couple of seconds, and I hope will provide you with a great deal of entertainment. You can check it out at warin15mm.com

Nice, I have been planning a Retro Space port/habitat set up but keep ending up as Star Wars. Lots of things to like in your two sets. |

That's amazing! It's (almost) exactly what I want to build! I have some of those ships awaiting paint and conversion. (Mine is set in 40k, but waaaay out on the rim. Xenos are a fact of life, and the Imperial authorities are a bit more… flexible.) |

A wretched hive of scum and villainy indeed! Some amazing paintwork there, and ingenious use of figures and vehicles as well :) |
