On Monday, our main forum slowed to a crawl, and it became almost impossible to post new topics for a while. I thought it might be the Chinese script kiddies at it again (we had some incidents with them in 2017), so I did some testing. One of the things I tried was to shut down the ability to search the forums… and to my surprise, this took a great deal of stress off the database, which in turn made the bugs much, much less frequent! As it turns out, it isn't the Chinese script kiddies this time at all. It's just another issue of website growth and increased traffic. I am going to leave forum searches disabled for a while, as I run further tests and rummage through the code. |

In the meantime, try using Google. You can search TMP using Google thusly: "bricole site:theminiaturespage.com" |

I always use Google to search TMP anyway. It's much faster and more accurate. Just put in "TMP" plus your search… |
