Well after a lot of trying to hide and then some procrastination I'd better start getting things organized for Hotlead 2018 (March 16-18). Our Events Coordinator Michelle is all set to start taking game listings. I know many of you have been working on your scenarios for a few months now. Send her the details at: shields.michelle.12@gmail.com Include the usual stuff: -how many players -time slot -how big a table (5×6 or 5×12 so please plan your terrain etc for those size tables!) We can only accomodate ONE mega game unless you want to run somehting Ffriday or Sat evening -game title, period, scale, rules -brief description to attract the players More at hotlead.ca

It looks like, for the most part, the cons cater to different interests. Hotlead is also the same date as Cold Wars. But that saves me a long drive.

If i tried to avoid conflicts I'd never be able to run the convention. There are people super happy that I'm not conflicting with Adepticon. So there's that.

Hotlead has been running for over 25 years, and always either the 2nd or 3rd weekend in March. This should not be a surprise for anyone…

Well I've been going to HotLead for 15 years or so. This is only the 2nd conflict with Cold Wars.

I think Cold Wars is later than usual this year isn't it?
