Having finished the detailing and outworks I have begun painting the starfort. Please take a look here link

I am looking for input; more drybrushing? Hit it with a wash? I have never done a terrain project this size and would like help from anybody with an idea.

I don't know who is supposed to besiege this fortress but they better have some good troops and engineers

Good looking troops and engineers. They have to look smart enough to deserve to assault something so pretty.

You're right, the red & white theme is really striking. The drybrushing really brings it to life too.

That ramped walkway with the cut stones and dirty pathway looks *awesome*. The contrasting shapes and colors are very striking.

The gun platforms are another really nice detail. Well done.

If you're still unhappy with the rampart walkways, you might try adding a wash over the drybrushing, to sort of "blend" all the color variations together. A brown should add some squalor, a tan should add some dust, a gray should add shadow; not sure of the best approach.

The doors and windows look great. The white framing highlights totally worked. Consider painting the fittings too (door handles, shutter bands) – either a red highlight or a contrasting black. That should really make them pop.
