I'm happy to mix Redoubt and Black Tree, but how do Empress and AW Miniatures compare sizewise? |

Empress are quite a bit smaller than Redoubt/Black Tree. |

I have Redoubt and Black Tree. But I do not use Empress or AW because I think they are noticeably smaller. I think all four brands are excellent figures though. |

Don't forget the Foundry ‘Casting Room' Zulus and soon there will be Perry's metals to go with the recently announced plastics. |

Not taking a look at Old Glory is a big mistake. Regards Russ Dunaway |

Thanks for the responses. I'm ready to look at any ranges provided they are compatible with the Redoubt/Black Tree figures I already have. So are Casting Room and Old Glory compatible? |

I have units of all the above. Just place them in separate units and they look fine. The only ones who stand out are the old Ral Partha. Way smaller. |

I have figures from Black tree, Old Glory, Empress, AW Miniatures, and the Older and newer Foundry Lines all mixed in together in the same units. All fit together. Some are taller than others, fatter, etc. Shield designs vary, etc. I think it adds to the look of a frontier army. I believe Redoubt are noticeably larger and stand out. |

Empress, Warlord and Wargames Factory are comparable Redoubt are somewhat larger and AW are significantly larger (note I only have AW cavalry and no infantry) |

Do Black Tree Design Zulu look imposing next to Copplestone castings? I want to do some darkest Africa games but with African Warriors useful for other things, like the Zulu War |
