I am near completion of building my first Cobras fro m the Bannon's Boys box set. I notice that there is a square hole in the front of the engine housing right above the cockpit. Is that supposed to be there or is it to be filled in with green stuff or putty? There is no piece to cover it… The pictures in the TY books seem to show it filled in with putty. Thanks for any help. |

Looking at real cobras there is a screened in oval (not very big) on the front but no square. Here's a pic from TY: link |

That's an air vent into the 'hell hole' for cooling the transmission. |

Thanks guys. Lion – I kind of figured after looking at pictures. What threw me off is that the pictures in the TY books don't show the square hole. They look as if they have been filled in with green stuff or something… I will just roll with it and finish building and painting… Thanks again. |

Isn't there a knob/bump on one of the fuselage halves? Looks like there should be one, based on the box art…
