Hi, can anyone tell me if Knuckleduster figures are compatible with Old Glory or Perry or are they a very big 28mm? Also besides knuckleduster who else makes 28mm Natives for war 1812?

Perry are more compatible with KD although I have mixed OG with KD as well…the style and animation are different though.

Note that Perry do not make Americans. AAIK for Americans there are KD, OG, Matchlock and Brigade Games. BG are very nicely sculpted figures by Paul Hicks. KD has the most extensive range including artillery and cavalry, militia, volunteers, sailors, marines, frontier militia and Indians. I have nearly all of them so, if you have specific questions I would be happy to address them.

Besides KD, BG produce Indians specifically for the War of 1812.

For a detailed but a little dated asseessment of War of War of 1812 figures see Chuck Smith's "War of 1812 gaming blog: link

For British figures there is plethora of producers but for overall figure listing see this excellent site (US figures at the bottom):

For American Indians you can use any from the French & Indian War until the War of 1812. Old Glory and Conquest make good lines.

Look at Foundry for their 1812 line. One of their best.

I forgot Foundry. They are indeed very nice sculpts except they are a tad small and generally the figures are bow legged.

I have several battalions of Foundry Americans and they look fine on the table with their slighlty larger counterparts.
