With respects, Cotton Jim's are variants of a few flags, manyu without the proper Mandarin text, and a few are not even Boxers (Manchu, others). Warflags offer only three Boxers, one with (as with some of Cotton Jim's) using dots in lieu of the correct characters. Ours were designed with the help of a native Mandarin speaker, thoroughly researched with sources from the PRC. Correct translations of the text of each flag are provided, and represent a variety of Boxer Tuan, outnumbering both other sources several times over. No brag, just fact! The illustrations on the page are deliberately "fuzzed" to discourage plagiarism. Funny, I just noticed that OG doesn't make standard bearers for Boxers or great powers. I might be able to make Boxer SB'S out of the pitchfork men. Not sure though… |
