Hope someone can help. Are there any 25mm plastic (so a bit chunkier/bigger than 1/72nd although 1/72nd would do the job)western figures out there which are very cheap. They can be toy bags or whatever. Looked at the 1815 Western stuff, really nice but £7.00 GBP for 13 cavalry. the reason i ask is because i wanted to do some play testing of some rules using 25/28/30mmm figures and only need the figures for short period of time (about 4 games). UK source would be great. thank you

Lot of cheap stuff on eBay. Resell them there when you're done. |

Martin, there are western figures from Airfix, Revell, Atlantic and Waterloo 1815, plus cheap clones of Airfix. Look at plasticsoldierreview.com |

Good ideas. Many of the plastic western figures are now out of production sadly. But i can persevere. The idea i am pursuing is to test the western rules out in 25mm to make sure of the aesthetics. Because the game is gridded, no rule changes are needed except the grid size. I do however really like to check the aesthetic of games we make. |
