Oh! Didn't know you were in/near Pittsburgh! When I was visiting family there, I went to a game store that was essentially the basement for a strip mall, and had a HUGE Chaos ship floorplan table…and I can't remember the name to save my life. |

Didn't know you were in Pittsburgh, I have a friend up there (who is in our club). We are doing our big club game in Morgantown WV next month. |

That is cool. I didn't know you were in Morgantown. That is only about an hour or so away from me. What is the club game? |

I actually live in Charleston, but some of our club live in Pittsburg and Maryland now, so we chose to do the game in Morgantown. We reserved a suite in a hotel for the weekend of January 30th, and we are are going to have a Zone Mortalis game (100 Power Level per player) on Friday night, and a large game (250 power level per player) on Saturday. I think we have more people who will attend now, though, so we may reduce the Power Level numbers per player. |

I used to spend quite a bit of time in Charleston. I actually was down there for Charcon a few years back. That is cool that you guys found a mutually convenient place to continue your games. Morgantown is a pretty happening town. I spent even more time there. |

We had four gangs (Goliaths, Escher, Cawdor and Delaque) dispute some objectives in this sprawling part of the Underhive.
The gangs were set up so that it would be natural for the two on each side of the table to fight each other. Mostly the fighting got confined to corridors but some out flanking was possible, although the only model that tried it rolled a 1 to jump across a short distance and fell into the abyss.
I set up the two legacy gangs opposite the new gangs just to see if they were competitive against each other.
They were. The Delaques, as modeled, were nowhere near as good in melee as the Goliaths but held their own and then some in shooting.
In the end there was some fighting between models on each side of the table but there was only one model left each from three gangs. It came down to long range shooting with a heavy stubber and bottle tests.
Strangely enough all of the gangs had objectives that would have been able to be accomplished without a single shot being fired against anyone else.
It still ended up as a blood bath. What a wonderful thing human nature is. For all of the pictures see here: imgur.com/a/B91rq |

Thank you. We had a good time. The long table was neat, although it ultimately really broke down into two games in effect. I need to get more tunnels so there can be multiple routes through the table and allow for more flanking and so forth or have more big open areas. |
