How does Essex compare in size with Foundry, Bicorne, Old Glory, Redoubt and the Assault Group. I did not know until yesterday that Essex had a line for the 1600's and I don't own any so if anyone out there can shed some light on the subject it would be great. |

Forgive my ignorance, but what is this "Deluge" period that I have seen you speak of? Thanks. |

It's between 1655-1660, where everyone was fighting in Poland. link |

I have most of those manufacturers, but I have not done the comparison. In general I would say Essex fit reasonably well with OG and TAG, possibly larger than Foundry, smaller than Bicorne and Redoubt. |

If you want a good overview of the period just preceding the Deluge and the Deluge I suggest reading Henryk Sienkiewicz's three volume fictional account, which includes With Fire and Sword and the Deluge. |
