I know, I know. I'll get around to reading Lovecraft one day.

In the meantime, I'm looking at photos of Innsmouth "fish men".

Some of these would make great head sprues for 15mm. :)

I just thought of something … would the greatest fear of these fish people be an attack by cat people? :)

Dan
PS. I just realized that CP Models already makes an aquatic head sprue:

HOLY, er… Mackerel!

Some excellent pictures there. Maybe some webbing between the fingers?
CP Models used to be able to sell just Chimp heads or fish heads as you wanted..
I'm hoping to make an order for my fish men but with some of their toadlings as more mutated denizens..

I think they still sell them, if you send them a really nice email. :)

On the show Farscape, I recall that the Tavlek had an almost fish or amphibian-like face.

PS. Check out the excellent color scheme on this fella here:

In the "early" stages of the Innsmouth look before the full change takes them, yeah that's pretty close to how I imagined them.

Whemever119 Dec 2017 9:51 a.m. PST

They speak in guttural croaks
And to hear them provokes
a profound desire to flee.
Their eyes never blink
And quite frankly they stink
Like a carcass washed up from the sea.

Sorry--I just started singing "It's beginning to look a lot like fishmen" as soon as I saw these guys. Seasonal.

Don't click that link! It's a Rickroll!

Fish-men! Fish-men! Rolly, polly, fishmen!

Yes, just received a nice email from CP models. They also have fish swarms for when your unit is still in an wet environment

I had no problem with Brokeback Mountain and even got through some pretty bad stuff like Salo and Caligula, but Shape of Water really freaks me out …
