I continue to add to my 28mm ACW Fire&Fury Regimental project (supposed to be for 2018 – but I am getting a head start). I recently went on a 20 day Temporary DutY (TDY) and took along 80 unpainted figures – using the weekends and early mornings (took advantage of reverse jet lag – waking up at 4am) I was able to knock out quite a few figures.
Most of these at Old Glory figures (My favorite) with some others mixed in. I also like the new Union in greatcoat by Raven Banner Games.
I still have some detail work to do on these, but plan to have them mounted up and ready by Christmas.
These figures ate going to make up the 2nd Brigade / 1st Division of VI Corps at Gettysburg. I will start on the 3rd brigade shortly (okay I already did this morning before heading off to Church). Here is the finished 1st Brigade:
If you live in or near San Antonio Texas join us in this ACW project for 2018. The group is part of the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) club. |
