Anyone know of a source for pre WWII maps of cities in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe? I especially am looking for a map of Vienna in 1936 or so, but also Warsaw, Prague and several German cities. Are there any Atlases of Pre-War Europe out there online or easily available? |

Interesting question. Do you think they really would have changed much before WWII? |

No, but they changed a lot during and after. I need them for a pre-War project. |

Ah, okay in other words pre-destruction and modern re-building. |

Ed, yes, very. Thanks! Now I just need Vienna, Prague, Warsaw and others. An Atlas of Europe in around 1936 or 37 would be amazing. I have had no success finding one. |

The best place to get maps like this, IMO, is from period Baedeker Guides. The one you're after is not cheap: link But often Libraries, especially, college libraries, have copies. We used the 1929 guides for the _Horror on the Orient Express_ campaign. Many of them were good enough to do tactical movement on. Edit: the 1911 version is online: link |
