Anyone know of a source for pre WWII maps of cities in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe? I especially am looking for a map of Vienna in 1936 or so, but also Warsaw, Prague and several German cities. Are there any Atlases of Pre-War Europe out there online or easily available?

Interesting question. Do you think they really would have changed much before WWII?

This link has maps of Poland, Warsaw is spread over two maps.

No, but they changed a lot during and after. I need them for a pre-War project.

Ah, okay in other words pre-destruction and modern re-building.

Ed, yes, very. Thanks! Now I just need Vienna, Prague, Warsaw and others.

An Atlas of Europe in around 1936 or 37 would be amazing. I have had no success finding one.

The best place to get maps like this, IMO, is from period Baedeker Guides. The one you're after is not cheap: link But often Libraries, especially, college libraries, have copies. We used the 1929 guides for the _Horror on the Orient Express_ campaign. Many of them were good enough to do tactical movement on.

Edit: the 1911 version is online: link
