"An estimated 40,000 people traveled from around the world to take up arms for the Islamic State group as it occupied territory in Syria and Iraq and declared a caliphate in 2014. A few hundred are believed to still be fighting as IS struggles to survive, having lost most of its territory to campaigns by Western-backed Syrian and Iraqi coalition armies. But what happened to the rest? Many thousands were certainly killed in the intense fighting, but US experts believe many have survived, posing a formidable threat going ahead…" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

Yep. They had plenty of time to relocate their fighters and loot. Dan |

This is just one chapter. The easy one, when we had them all in one place but took too long to act, so they are now scattered preparing for the next chapter. The question is, are we preparing for it? A few days ago, when my nephew flew in from the eastern Mediterranean, in Newark there was particular interest in anyone with a US passport returning to the country. Dan TMP link |

The IS is growing its operations in Libya . Those that didn't go home may have gone there. Meanwhile, the IS also operates in the Caucuses, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, even in Pakistan. Some groups in Nigeria and elsewhere have thrown in with IS, too. So if they didn't give and go home or head to the west to live on handouts and plan operations they had other choices. Lots of Muslims learn at least basic Arabic, since that's the language in which you need to study the Koran, so while Egyptian Arabic is very different from Syrian Arabic, both of which differ from Koranic Arabic, moving is an option. |

Do a simple google image search for ISIS refugees and you'll find plenty of photos of fighters sneaking into the West. They said they were going to use the refugee system and they are being true to their word. Also, some of the ones who dressed like women were caught by Iraqi armed forces trying to sneak out of the area. link Those are the ones detected. Who knows how many more made it through as refugees. They dressed as women, putting on makeup but not shaving extensive facial hair. I can understand not wanting to lose the facial hair, but I'm baffled they thought that was going to work. This whole situation is awful, and barely improving. |

Lol. I guess they figured their veils would hide the facial hair. These next few months we're going to see an increase in attempts to enter the West. But people here think the war is somehow over and that we can finally relax a little. That, of course, is exactly what ISIS and their associates want us to do. Dan TMP link |

They sneak back to their countries to commit more terrorist attacks. ISIS recruited so many foreigners by promising them women and girls to rape, and thousands joined for that reason alone. Yet another one of the hundreds of reasons to legalise prostitution! |

Haitiansoldier: "ISIS recruited so many foreigners by promising them women and girls to rape, and thousands joined for that reason alone. Yet another one of the hundreds of reasons to legalise prostitution!" Wait. What? Who? What??? Rapists aren't going to be satisfied that way. They aren't after role playing. That's like saying 2 + 2 = potato. Dan
