"In the $600 USD billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 USD million spent on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was almost impossible to find. Which was how the Pentagon wanted it. For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon's C Ring, deep within the building's maze. The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012. But its backers say that, while the Pentagon ended funding for the effort at that time, the program remains in existence. For the past five years, they say, officials with the program have continued to investigate episodes brought to them by service members, while also carrying out their other Defense Department duties…" Main page link Also….. link Amicalement Armand |

Most of the money went to an aerospace research company run by a billionaire entrepreneur and longtime friend of Mr. Reid's, Robert Bigelow… Yeah…Harry Reid was involved, and most of the money went to his "friend"…'nuff said…. |

Anyone who thinks 5C is "deep in the building's maze" hasn't been in the maze much. I would not be surprised to learn that someone in DoD--maybe DIA, maybe DARPA--kept tabs on UFO sightings, and I KNOW a lot of MI types have strange hobbies. (Some of them are known to play with toy soldiers, after all.) But a New York Times report these days has about as much credibility as one from the National Inquirer. |

I didn't know that Keebler elf had friends. Anyway, as happens so often with our corrupt leaders, the "friend" must have given him a sizeable cut. Dan

Just saw a news story about this, the US Military and UFO hunting, etc. So if it is in the news media it must be true ! Regardless, with all the sighting which most can be "explained". There still seems to remain a few that appear can't be. However, all that being said, I think at this point with all the things going on now planet wide it seems. The money could probably be spend for something better/more important. Plus as Hawkings and other have allude to, etc., if the ETs land here and mean us harm. There may be little we can do about it. And of course another good reason to keep a lot of Nucs around. Which may or may not be effective … but that remains to be seen. And hopefully will never have to be proven either way … a lot of MI types have strange hobbies. (Some of them are known to play with toy soldiers, after all.) Now That is really alarming !!?!?!!?! |

Now, be a good talking monkey and lay on your stomach. I'm going to introduce the back of your neck to a little friend of mine. After a couple of minutes of discomfort, everything will feel peaceful and harmonious. Pain will be a distant memory, as long as you follow the new voice in your head. Dan link

I use to think UFO's and such were a joke. And I say 99.9% of whats reported today is miss ID or experiment craft. But after reading and educating myself on the 1952 Washington DC incident. This was filmed before special effects on reel to reel film. Multiple radar's picked up the seven objects. Civilian pilots saw the crafts, 1000's of people on the ground saw the crafts. Military planes took off and intercepted the crafts. The government at the time said it was swamp gas. hahahaha Something not seen before or since over Washington DC. YouTube link link |

Ironwolf Swamp gas. In DC. Makes perfect sense to me! :) Dan |

For a while my Dad was the guy at British Aerospace who got to send letters to people politely thanking them for submitting their concept for building a perpetual motion device. All organisations need someone to ride herd on the crazies. |

Dezmond Lol. I think Hedy Lamarr may have received a couple of those polite letters, when she tried to submit her torpedo guidance idea. Dan link link |

I remember my Mother had a book that I believe was titled "The US Air Force Report On UFOs". This was late 1950s or early 60s. In it were very detailed reports from USAF pilots who were scrambled to intercept objects picked up on radar. As I recall it covered the years from WWII up to the date of publication. I believe it was a US Government publication as well. Hardly the stuff of the aluminum foil brigade. If memory serves I believe that more than once the objects were even fired upon. The reports were often from more than one pilot. Strange stuff all around. |

This article says some of the $22 USD million was used to refurbish warehouses to hold and study recovered items. That to me is more important of a story. link hocklermp5, my dad had a similar book that was based off the old Project Blue book research. Here is my thoughts on this, if there is nothing to it then why does the government constantly lie about their programs to study UFO's??? Since Project Blue Book, the US government has repeatedly claimed they no longer study this. And even in this case the DoD claims they stopped funding the program back in 2012. But the guy who ran the program said it was still up and running as of Oct 2017 when he resigned. Not only said it was up and running, but they had recovered items and material that were being housed and studied in around Las Vegas Nevada area! lolj At this point in time, only delusional or poorly educated people can honestly claim there is nothing to it. hahahahaha |
hocklermp5 | 19 Dec 2017 8:41 a.m. PST |
Ironwolf….."Project Blue Book" was the one my Mother had. The cover was even USAF blue. She belonged to "The Book Of The Month Club" and kept whatever was shipped that month. Even as young as I was I thought the alien UFO thing just so much 1950s SciFi silliness but after reading that book had to wonder if there wasn't something to the large number of incidents. The reports were detailed accounts from serious professionals relating what they did and observed during a tasked mission. |
Cacique Caribe | 19 Dec 2017 12:53 p.m. PST |
Lol. I know there was a project called Project Blue Book, and a tv show named after it, but I didn't know that there was an actual book called Project Blue Book! :) Dan PS. You've gotta admit that "the aliens ate my jet plane" sounds much better coming from those in charge of protecting you than saying "we can't match our enemy's capabilities". At some point, some of what you find will be intentional misdirection. |
