So I recently bought the PCS 1/72 model for the 38T Panzer and Marder options. My mistake was in looking at the box art it had a picture of a Sdkfz Grille 138 SP gun and I was drawn to it like a siren. I thought perhaps that was an option for the model kits, even though it was not listed. Needless to say, it is not part of the model kit.

So a warning to anyone else memorized by the box art. I think it is the only one in the entire 1/72 scale series that features (albeit in the background) a variant of the basic model not in the box (nor listed on the box).

Which raises the question, does anyone make a good 1/72 (not 1/76th mind you) model of the Grille 138?

And another boo boo. PSC, not PCS, which means something else altogether. :-(

Early War Miniatures offers a Grill H sdkfz 138/1 150mm SPG.
As a 20mm model I don't know if it meets your 1/72 standard.
I'll be away most of the weekend but Monday I'll rummage through the basement, I believe I have several unbuilt Grille kits. I don't recall if they're 1/72 or 1/76. I'll let you know.
