Hi TMPers! I was wondering if anybody here knows of manufacturers that (still) produce metal 28mm scale miniatures with single-piece castings and integral bases? (I understand that there's probably plenty out there, especially in plastic, so I'll be a bit more specific) 1. Preferably those that make more than just Fantasy/Historical, e.g. Science-Fiction 2. Perhaps also "giant humanoids/robots etc." from other scales, but are overall about 28-32mm tall, e.g. Ral Partha's Piranha Battlemech. 3. A regularly-sized integral base, instead of the irregular "broccoli" at the bottom like Reaper Miniatures' older stuff, e.g. 25mm round/hex integral bases and the like. |

Denizan. They have a nicely sculpted range of 25mm Sci-fi figures with cast on bases. (But you stated you wanted 28mm….for which I know of none.) Am sure someone else know of a few. Just trying to help. |

@Dye4minis: Oh, 25mm will be great too (I just didn't specify because I personally don't differentiate between 25/28mm :p) That's a great suggestion, Denizen Miniatures. I just didn't realise they were single piece with integral bases. Thanks! |

I thought nearly all of them have cast on bases? But I only collect historical figures so maybe not what you are looking for |

Yeah, after looking, I noticed that there are a few Fantasy/Historical out there on the market. But not many make Sci-Fi in that manner. So I was mainly looking for that. Also, I was wondering if there were sculptors who have continued to modernise integral base/single-piece sculpting, or was it a relic of the past. |
