Whoever finds the Egg will inherit the creator's $240 USD billion fortune"

I'll second that. The book is terrific, especially if you were a child of the 70's and 80's.

Wonder how they'll dumb it down for mundane (not geek) audiences.
I enjoyed the book, and solved nearly every clue before the protagonist did. Every time I read a puzzle, I thought, "oh, that's a reference to X." But if you weren't a D&D video gamer computer geek back in the '80s, you not only wouldn't follow the clues, you wouldn't even have the background to understand what they were, or even understand how they were solved, nor why the solution worked. But maybe they're not expecting a non-geek audience.
