There are various OGRE sets of different eras under the Christmas tree, but I can't take the suspense. I have a single report that the new plastic OGRE vehicles are compatible with the old SJG metal ones, and an old SJG site which suggests, but does not say, that the SJG versions are compatible with the old Ral Parthas. (1) is this true to anyone's actual knowledge? Not "I heard it was so" but "I've seen them side by side." (2) Are there any OGRE miniatures known NOT to be compatible with the new plastics? Thanks. |

I own both the new plastics and the metals ones, not sure if the metal ones are SJG or Ral Partha. While I have not put a micrometer on them, if there is any difference in size, it is not noticable. |

They seem to be identical |

As far as I know the SJG ogre minis were made from the same molds as Ral Partha. I sold my metal ogre collection a while back the the SJG and Ral Partha metal minis were identical. |

I have the SJG metals and the new plastic. They are the same size, and appear to be identical sculpts. Like BigJoeDuke, I haven't done a close inspection, but they appear to be identical in every way. Note that the current plastics are all from SJG's "Paneuropean" designs (well, except the Ogre, which is a "North American Combine" weapon). So far, SJG has not recreated the Combine forces. I highly suspect they will do yet another Kickstarter for these (or I hope so!). |
