How about the woodgrain on the musketry, or the cipher on the sabretache, let alone the lacing on the trumpeter? The officer in the mirliton brings home to me just how much 92th occifers simply adapted light cavalry rig. Surely he would fit in instantly to a line of Greenjackets without any conversion work? |
