To all…I am looking for a copy of Napoleon At War rules. Anyone have a copy they're not going to use, gathering dust or being used as a big drink coaster? LMK Want to buy it NOW if you take PayPal.
Thanks!

Hi Steve

I have a copy I would be willing to part with although you would be looking at postage from Canada.

If interested, send me a PM and we can discuss price.

I have the first ed,. Picked it up at historicon last year. Looked interesting. And lo and behold, practical. Still unsure I would drop Shako 1st. But I will pick up the Econ if and hen it ever comes to the surface.

I too am interested in these rules to buy (and the 100 Days supplement).

Are you sure about a new version of the rules? The website for the company is defunct and I can't find them anywhere!

Cheers! Don

I've got the original edition and whilst I found them interesting there did seem to be some problems. Anyone know anything about this 2nd Edition, whats changed, whats been fixed?

Hi there

Not much has leaked about what is in or out of the proposed V2 of N@W. I was part of a group providing ideas / testing but I can't tell what the author thought fit to include as 'new'.

Some things that seemed to be considered favourable (ahem) were a 'Grande Bande' formation for (some) infantry and direct counter-charging ie simultaneous combat for cavalry – assuming the target passed its test.

There may be a broken down points system where individual characteristics are spelled out rather than hiding in the black box.

And that's all I know / remember.

I'm looking forward to it to.

Regards
