Navy Recognition recently had the chance to visit Karlskrona naval base in Southern Sweden thanks to Swedish defense group Saab. Karlskrona is the main naval base of the Swedish Navy and a pretty unique site: The base is fairly ancient as it was created in 1680. Many old buildings remain visible on the base such as one of the longest wooden building in the world, the 300 meters long rope walk, which was used for rope making…"
