"The "Anunnaki" are the major players in a paradigm making its way into popular folklore, via the work of the late Zecharia Sitchin, an economist by education and profession, and the author of several best-selling books, including Genesis Revisited, that explore ancient mythology and the mysterious megalithic ruins found around the globe. These various books also seek to demonstrate that there was in ancient times an extraterrestrial race that genetically manipulated mankind for various reasons. The Sitchin thesis ("Sitchinism"), now embraced by numerous other writers, who have incorporated it into what is apparently a new worldview, essentially asserts that these ancient Sumero-Babylonian gods, the Anunnaki, are aliens from the planet Nibiru (Sitchin's "12th Planet"), which passes by the earth every 3,500 years or so, at which time they planet-hop to the earth and create mischief…" Main page link Amicalement Armand

I don't believe a word of it, and yet I love it. The need to recycle old ideas and merge them with new myths has always fascinated me. Dan |

Behold the granite stone face of Hadad(?), Lord of the ancient Annunaki Ape-Lizard-Pig-Men whom we worshipped as gods once and will do so once again. And who, even now, are terraforming Earth once again to their preferred temperature and humidity levels. Perhaps a future post apocalyptic culture will rescue it out of the Louvre and make it the center piece of a majestic ziggurat temple and spread the faith across the rest of the planet. And the worship of the Annunaki will once again become the main religion on Earth! :) Dan TMP link TMP link TMP link link

I love all that crazy stuff. Though it says a lot more about the believers themselves. Dan PS. We could have never built the pyramids without all that Alien wisdom. :)

I love that alien series on the History Channel … but it should be on Sy-Fy … |

UPDATE ! Today on the History Channel's Ancient Aliens series at 1 pm/13:00 hrs "The Annunaki Connection" will be aired. As well as most of the day many of the episodes of Ancient Aliens will be shown. Binge watching at it's finest ! I've heard ol' Zacheria has been discredited a bit by some. I mean at this point with Hubble and other high tech we currently have. I'd think if Nibiru is out there we'd see/find it ? Never the less I being a Sci-fi Geek love the whole paradigm/concept of ancient aliens, starting with von Daniken's "The Chariots of the Gods", etc., etc. "The Truth Is Out There" … |

I've heard ol' Zacheria has been discredited a bit by some It would be news if you could find somebody credible who has actually credited Mr. Sitchin's "research". |
