Nice photo-AAR from the Corlears Hook Fencibles: link It's interesting how this and other heavily wooded battlefields like The Wilderness or Spotsylvania actually promote maneuver more than they hinder it, because the limited lines of sight prevent artillery from dominating large stretches of terrain. I have been to that battlefield.. it is pristine: the only other large pristine battlefield is Shiloh ---which has better catfish restaurants. That said the AARis GREAT. This is a super set of rules. |
