Elephant

Just a quick message to let you know the Victrix plastic African war elephant is now on sale as well as the howdah, blanket and shield transfers to go with them.

The models can be used for Carthage, Numidia, Ptolemaic Egypt, and Rome, and come with the four crew options.

Next releases will be the Gallic warriors in January.

I don't know why I can't get images to show anymore? I did the same as I normally do in copying the link but images just wont display the last few times I have done this. Any idea of what has gone wrong would be welcome.

Steve.

The link doesn't end in ".jpg" so the server does not automatically recognize the link as an image link. Therefore, you need to use the img tags, see the FAQ.

More fun with more Ptolemaic elephants!!!
These look great!
I like the clever designs for the blankets.

I made the mistake of looking, what beautiful miniatures!

Very nice but not much cheaper than 1st Corps African elephant and crew at £17.00 GBP p (resin and metal). I would have hoped that plastic would have been cheaper.

Now you just need to re-size the decals for 15mm Steve (please)

Steve – just been looking at more detailed pictures on your website. Looking at the sprues themselves, the picture seems to suggest that get 3 Nellie body halves on a sprue, therefore presumably 6 Nellie body halves in total??

STEVE LBMS Supporting Member of TMP03 Dec 2017 2:26 p.m. PST

There are 3 halves per sprue, you get two variants of the left hand side of the Model plus alternative trunk options so you can make differing poses as you can see in the top image.

Spare halves you could convert into dead elephants.

Thanks for clarification

So… Victrix elephants, using the padded cushion but but not the howdah, and some 28mm Essex Arab elephant crew – is that a nonsense way to make an Arab elephant instead of just buying one..?
