I have some minis whom are wearing WW1 era puttees, but I'm thinking jackboots might be more appropriate for them. Has anyone ever taken a mini with puttees, and somehow converted it to having high-top boots? I'm thinking maybe doing it with white glue, but I've never heard of it being done |

Liquid green stuff might be better, or really thick paint might do the trick. Either way good luck and show us the results. |

Metal figures or plastic? |

Personally I would use epoxy putty for this job with a little filing along the way. Assuming these are metal. If they are hard plastic, same would probably work, but if soft plastic, not so sure. I guess plasticene & bananna oil…? Damon. |

How about the other way around, that is from boots to puttees? |
