I have some minis whom are wearing WW1 era puttees, but I'm thinking jackboots might be more appropriate for them. Has anyone ever taken a mini with puttees, and somehow converted it to having high-top boots? I'm thinking maybe doing it with white glue, but I've never heard of it being done

Liquid green stuff might be better, or really thick paint might do the trick. Either way good luck and show us the results.

Metal figures or plastic?

Personally I would use epoxy putty for this job with a little filing along the way. Assuming these are metal. If they are hard plastic, same would probably work, but if soft plastic, not so sure. I guess plasticene & bananna oil…?

Damon.

How about the other way around, that is from boots to puttees?
