'Ello lads. So I've been expanding my 28mm WW2 armies, and I really want to paint a tank from my favourite TV series, Czterej Pancerni i Pies.
However, I cannot seem to find any decals for the eagle nor any letters to spell 'RUDY' which is quite saddening. If anyone knows where to find decals for all of this, it would be greatly apperciated. |

Lettering decals can usually be found at your local model railroad store. finding the (Imperial Russian? Polish?) eagle might be a bigger challenge, I'd check WW1 aircraft decals. |

Rudy sounds like a good name for a tank since it was Teutonic for WOLF. |

Yeah, I forgot to mention it's a Polish tank of the Polish 1st Army on the Eastern Front. Rudy means 'Ginger' in Polish :P They also have a Siberian German Shepherd with it. |

I would love to see that show at all, but especially with English subtitles. |

It is (was?) available as a premium tank on World of Tanks. A T-34-85 with some special characteristics. Most notably, it came with "6th Sense", which lets you know when your tank has been spotted by an enemy. In the case of Rudy, when you were spotted you heard a dog barking. Arf arf. I kid you not… -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |

Archer dry transfers has the Polish Eagle but in 1/72nd. Still might be large enough: link Also in 1/35th, perhaps the smallest might be of use? link |

There is a series of booklets from "Topcolors" which have a variety of of color pics along with a full sheet of deals from 1:72, 1:48 and 1:35 scales. In these booklets the text is Polish and English. I have bought a few of these booklets and they have become very helpful. With the decal sheets there are always the Polish eagle emblem. I bought mine through Amazon, here is a sample of what they look like: link There is a whole series of them.
Good luck. P. |
