The third game of the four played this month at the DWG was a run out with the new Battlegroup Tobruk rules.

Very nice models. 900 points a side is a large-ish game. And from my experience, it does take a couple of games to have the rules mesh together in your head. Have had many people question rolling for observation for each shot. The new main rule book explains the author's reasoning quite well. A lot of the uncertainty of war: dust, smoke, small undulations of ground that hides troops, own troops ducking down to avoid fire and losing sight of the enemy, etc., can't really be modeled well without too much complexity, so this rule abstracts all that.
