I'm jumping into the Pirate period and am looking for some sites that feature "pirate towns" or Spanish Main" buildings and terrain.
No lazar cut stuff….I'll make my own

I have Gary Chalks plans and have cut some foamcore out.
But what about huts or houses that the locals lived in?
Any examples of them would be helpful.

And finally what colors for the buildings?
Adobe white or that Spanish Main yellow?

Google pictures of San Juan's old town in Puerto Rico. Some of those buildings are from the 1600's. I am told colors are close to original but white would be predominate color. As for some of the locals – grass and palm huts.

Spanish colonial architecture is relatively well known.
But does anyone have an idea as to what British colonial architecture of the 1630 to 1730 time period looked like?
