Does anyone do Vauban style castings for 10mm,pieces sold individually ie wall sections,Grassiers,Ravelins etc.I know paperterrain do one ,but a little too flimsy for me,also Leven Minis do a 6mm ,but no sizes on it.Looking to do siege wargame along lines of Badajoz etc. Thanks in advance.

The Leven Minis star fort is 450mm dia for the inner citadel and 780mm dia if you add the outer defence works.

This much is on the website but the printed catalogue has sizes for the individual bits. e.g. a ravelin is 80mm long, 90 deep and 18 tall. A wall section is 98mm long, 25mm deep & 30mm tall.

If you need more they may be able to send you a copy of the page from the catalogue by e-mail. Mick is very helpful so definitely worth a try.

Paper Terrain do a great fortress and they have excellent customer service.

You can do various things to strengthen the models if you are worried about that. If you're concerned about the helf of the models, heavier bases are the way to go.

Overall, they are about you only option short of scratch building.

I have purchased a Paper Terrain Vauban fort and wholeheartedly endorse and echo 138SquadronRAF's recommendations.
