More 20mm ab ww2 completed, and some of them are in field grey.

SS MORTAR TEAM
ING 43

PAK40 CREW
RTG 01

NEBELWERFER CREW
RTG 06
As you can see one crew member got a snazzy 2 piece uniform in italian camo

PRONE SET
ING 05

ZELTBAHN SET
RTG 06
Decided to give them italian camo zeltbahns and gave then green foliage which came out rather nice I thought.
The italian camo is a new approach and im happy with it.

ING 01
Thought id have another go at field grey, I mixed various different shades and ignored the ss v Heer colours argument and I wasnt too concerned the sleeve eagles and armband were in the exactly right position or they were all the same, im pleased how everything came out, I finished the field grey with some brown washes and highlights.

Late 44 /45 german footage shows the occasional ss member still with a swastika decal on the helmet so gave one to an nco, as well as the more common ss decal (even though both were prohibited) same nco also has 2 tank destruction badges.

Some have been issued with surplus afrika corp Y straps.

Thx for looking, more sets soon.

Why we don't have the same wonderful poses in 28mm?

randy5124 Nov 2017 11:13 a.m. PST

And why are some people such talented artists?

foxweasel24 Nov 2017 11:18 a.m. PST

Yes, though printed on one side only… italian camo was used to make every German item of clothing.

Ceterman24 Nov 2017 12:23 p.m. PST

Jeigheff24 Nov 2017 4:02 p.m. PST

Gorgeous paint jobs that do AB's masterpieces justice.

Unbelievable skill

Splendid. a shame my gaming group keeps ignoring 20 mm, which imho are the best when it comes to realism. Got most of the ABs for my german and Canadian Normandy forces and must say they are the best, you paint job made them even better.

Just came across this.

Wow.

You must have the eyes of a hawk and the skill of the Devil.

Seriously impressed. :)

Cheers
