Yesterday I played and finished a solo AWI game featuring an American ambush of a British supply column that was heading from Charleston to Camden in our South Carolina Campaign. Francis Marion's army ambushed Lord Rawdon's column as it marched with reinforcements and supplies for the British garrison at Camden.
Click on the link for the full battle report (and lots and lots of pictures) that I have posted to my blog: link I have also supplied orders of battle for both sides, game objectives, terrain ground rules and a link to my free Fife & Drum rules as found on the Fife & Drum website. All figures are from Fife and Drum Miniatures AWI range of 28mm figures. The log cabins are from In The Grand Manner buildings and are perfect for battles in the back country of South and North Carolina. |
