TMP Lounge Member: "Streitax" (aka: Robert/Bob Gallavan) has passed away.

Message came across to me today that Bob passed sometime in October.
We've been friends for a few years and he had just recently this year relocated to Dayton to work at Wright Pat.
Bob and I finally met in 2015 at Little Wars where he played the Mexican Bandito "El Burrito Grande" in my Chili Verde game. He did such a great job with the character that I was working on bringing that character back for a game next year, and was actually working on a special mini for him that would've been his to keep.

I've had many a good conversations with him, and the lounge is a little sadder place now.

So if you have a drink…or can get one…Then please give a toast and prayer to one of ours and his family in this time.

Oh all the money that e'er I spent
I spent it in good company
And all the harm that e'er I've done
Alas, it was to none but me
And all I've done for want of wit
To memory now I can't recall
So fill to me the parting glass
Good night and joy be with you all.

Oh all the comrades that e'er I've had
Are sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I've had
Would wish me one more day to stay
But since it falls unto my lot
That I should rise and you should not
I'll gently rise and I'll softly call
Good night and joy be with you all
Good night and joy be with you all.

Thanks Streitax…for all the good times and friendship.
You'll be missed.

Really! Sad news indeed. Good guy, good person with a sense of humour.
I shall tip a glass in his honour.
Thanks for letting us know Murphy.

Very sad to hear this news. We traded items often at the flea markets and dealt online many times. RIP good friend. The rest of us will soon visit you at the big miniatures convention in the sky.

I didn't know him but we happy few are getting fewer by the day – I raise a Diet Dr Pepper to your friend.
