"Hello everyone. I'm looking for some 15mm figures that would be appropriate for French forces at Fornovo 1495. I have most the mounted and crossbow I would need, I'm looking now for the pike, halberdiers, and shot. Most figures I've found are either for early 15th century or later Renaissance era so I'm having a bit of a pickle. Also I'd prefer the pike came with weapon separate as I like to use piano wire instead of the flimsy pewter. Thanks everyone!

Lancashire Games told me that they should have a list of their initial releases for their new Italian Wars range out by this weekend. I saw the samples on Saturday. The figures seem right for the period you want.

My experience with that company – admittedly twenty years ago, so they may have cleaned up their act – was that the figures were flimsy, absurdly posed, and inaccurate, and they appeared to think I was to blame for pointing this out.

Just hold your breath and wait a few weeks for Bluemoon release of 50 packs for this perod. You can add a few Labcashire afterwards to add avariety and fine tune numbers.

No word on Venaxia miniatures redoing the market?

I have recently bought a few armies from Lancashire games and quite like the figures, no complaints from me.
