A refight of the battle in 685AD between the Picts and Northumbrians when the latter were caught on their way home after a large punitive raid. Carved stones thought to pertain to the battle show armoured cavalry, the Northumbrians may have all been mounted for their foray.

I use WAC for both Ancient and Dark Ages, they are a big battle set which take me back to my golden age of wargaming before armies consisted of 30 figures and the game took an hour :)
