The move, which follows an offensive that began on Saturday, leaves the jihadist group on the verge of complete defeat in Iraq. Maybe "the last bastion" in that part of the world, but it is definitely NOT ISIS' "last bastion". That "last bastion" will be in Africa or SE Asia, if they and their associates are dealt with soon, before it mutates again. Dan |
