Got the game at Fall In, and started painting stuff up and playing… it's a lot of fun so far! For more photos, come on by! link |

Is the game an opponent game with one or more players controlling zombies, or do the zombies follow "programmed" rules so that all players are fighting against the dead (presumably cooperatively, although given what little I know of the show, perhaps not…)? |

Looks great, I like all the scenery items too, cars, debris, etc. |

Par, the zombies are controlled through a very simple system of "nearness" and event cards. If you'd like, I can do a little review? I have to say, it is a VERY simple system (we got it within two turns of our first game) but really evocative of the feel of zombie world. You want me to post a bit about it? Thanks Wiz! It's a collection of stuff from outside the game as well… when it's all painted up I'll post it all:) |

Agreed, it is a simple but fun game. Mechanics are neat and easy to get to grips with, and with the threat tracker you do get a palpable sense of tension and of things ramping up as the game goes on. I've also picked up the Prelude to Woodbury expansion for solo play which is well worth the money. |

Yeah, love the threat tracker, and how it so simply interacts with the cards… it creates a really simple flow. Add in the ability of characters to slow down and start spending time building their nerve back up and letting the battlefield quiet down… it makes for a real nice experience. Bara, what's in the solo set? I was thinking of it, but didn't know how worth it it was… |

Sure, I can do that… it's a super super simple game, but has a real nice feel to it. Lemme see what I can put together. |

@Lord … The Prelude to Woodsbury game gives you a single survivor and 6 walkers, and a number of solo scenarios. It was specifically designed for solo gameplay. You can play the core game solo as well, but it was designed for two (or more) players to run gangs, try and meet scenario goals (scavenge for supplies, etc), while dealing with the rival gang and walkers. Where Prelude has you running a single survivor, and dealing with walkers. For those who care about such things, the walkers in Prelude are unique. They are not available in any other game box or booster pack. So some people picked up Woodbury just to increase their collection of unique zed poses. |
