I commented on this announcement on the Perry's FB page. I've ordered the Forge, but the Horse cav gun isn't much use without the limber. And after wrestling with a bunch of Perry Russian limbers, guns and caissons, I don't know how much more of their metals I'm going to purchase--the casting is uniformly terrible. Great picking though--I have yet to buy a cart or wagon without every single one of the little, fiddly pieces inside, but it's very nice sculpts ruined by poor casting and/or choice of alloy. |
