Looking for a miniatures war game group in North Carolina, Checked out the Triangle Simulation site but could my find contacts, only convention info. I am about 30 miles south of Raleigh.

A large group of gamers there. Ed posts frequently on here. I have been there a number of times. Last I heard they had five to seven stores in the Raleigh area. Sash and Sabre company is there too.

From the website you should go to the Facebook and Yahoo List tabs and sign up for them.

The Yahoo list is moderated, so you will have an email back from a moderator. :)

Herr Rauch – Do reach out to the Triangle Sim Society in Raleigh. It is a terrific and active group of gentlemanly adult gamers.

BTW, rumor has it that Ed Mohrman, grandmaster emeritus of the group, is in line for the role of Dumbledore in the next Harry Potter film.

Hiya, Ed ….. ;-)

Good luck down there, Bernhard. I will miss our games.

Blutarski, sadly their people and my people could not
agree on compensation. All I wanted was a lifetime
supply of Moxie !

(I'll bet you're one of the few who will get the joke).

Bernhard. in precisely what community do you reside ?
Within 30 miles S of Raleigh is a small town (Moncure) in
which I attended school for a couple of years. There
are also small towns in Chatham County which 'fit' from
a distance perspective.

Hi Bernhard! We of the TSS are something of a semi-autonomous collective. Getting on the e-mail list is the best way of knowing what is going on. 30 minutes south of Raleigh is not too far. There are many gaming places in Raleigh and Cary. While I live in Raleigh, I tend to like to game at Atomic Empire in Durham as they have beer on tap. What is your period of interest?

Bernhard Rauch21 Nov 2017 2:54 p.m. PST

My interests keep shifting, presently I am into CY6 but am willing to play anything. I have hosted games of Johny Reb, Blitzkrieg Commander, Cold War Commander, Lasalle, Bluecher, Warhammer Historicals, and Tiller and Whipstaff.
