Has the tent not been moved to Philadelphia? |

There are a couple of Washington tents. One was his "office." One was his quarters, and one was his dinning area. I think I have that right. The tent in the museum in Philly was found in Arlington House – Robert E. Lee's home. It was the property of Lee's wife – a Custis, and relative of the Washington family (on his wife's side). I believe the tents were split up among the family, if I have the story straight. link The Union Army confiscated the home during the war (not home to the military cemetery) and found the tent then and confiscated it too.

How long before some company sculpts and sales them? Not long I bet. |
