I've just ordered my copy of 1871 ruleset ( link ) and I wonder if basing rules are the same as in 1870? Any hints?

I dont own the new rules, but i have played them and seen Bruce Weigel play them, so i am sure that there is nothing changed.

I would imagine there is a degree of flexibility when basing as long as both armies are the same. Never seen 32 x 13mm MDF bases ;-)
