I am considering purchasing a 3D printer and buying some files from Printable Scenery. Are there other companies around like them?

You should certainly roam around thingiverse.com. That site is immense.

3D Print Terrain recently completed their Pirate kickstarter.

Check out what was offered (it has all been delivered to backers at this point, and should eventually make it to his online store).

Not only a few Tudor style buildings for England, but lots of terrain for the Caribbean.

Printable Scenery has a lot of good stuff, but not much that is "specific" to Pirates. A recent campaign of theirs had a shanty, a church, and some very cool trees, well worth checking out.

Fat Dragon also have a vast selection of printable stuff, but most of it is dungeon and cavern terrain. Their village terrain is nice, but mostly looks like stuff you would find in Europe, not in the Caribbean. Still, worth a look.

Another to consider (if you are looking for ships) is ESLO. They just concluded a campaign for ships, and then followed that up with a second campaign for more ships.

Printable Scenery has one fantastic frigate, that is super detailed, and they admit it is their most complex print file set. ESLO is not as detailed, and not as complicated.

Not sure if their ships have made it to their online store yet or not. But here is what they had to offer:

WorldWorksGames had a pirate terrain set long ago, It was removed from the main catalogue but maybe it's in their "Vault" or available from Paizo.
