WOW.

Thanks for posting the work-in-progress and the finished model. It looks fantastic.

Whoa, missed that entirely. Depressingly awesome paint job aside it looks really nice. Particularly welcome since Spartan's demise, but the price seems pretty steep – but then I noticed it's one of their 'light and sound' jobs.

Unfortunately all the other stuff incoming is 1:30'something.

Oh, snap!

It's 1/100 scale!!! ~$50 or so (40 Euros)…

Whoa Nellie!!!!

I just picked one up Friday from Hobby Lobby. With the 40% off coupon it was like $28. USD I guaranty it won't look anywhere near as good as this one though.

Are the electronics easy to exclude i.e. you don't end up with a huge hole where the button was supposed to be?

dwartist13 Nov 2017 3:23 p.m. PST

I haven't taken anything away. I still get surprised when the engine sound starts when I accidentally press the button at the front!

Lion in the Stars13 Nov 2017 10:37 p.m. PST

Oh, there's the button! Low on the nose, painted a light khaki.

Don't have one, yet, but it looks like you could rip the button out of the soundbox and just glue it in place.
