Recreated the battle for a visiting friend at the actual site of the battle. A short overview of the action can be seen on my blog: miniatureminions.blogspot.com

Awesome. What a nice idea to game an action on the actual battlefield. |

That was all the idea of Pete. I have spent almost a full year prepping the figures and terrain for this battle, but all worth it to see them in action on the actual site. It was my first try with the DBACW rules and I finished the game really excited, as I think tihe rules showed great potential. |

I think the rules play well. You could find a set that takes three or four hours longer to play, but the results will be the same. |

This is wonderful. A mile from my house was a rare gunboat vs cavalry action -- Photocrinch you and I could cart over a few figures and a gunboat and roll dice on the shores of the Cumberland. I love it. Bravo ! bonps.org/kelleys-battery |

Great idea and well executed. Did someone bring an umbrella just in case? : ) |

Nashville, thought I had posted a response, but it appears to have disappeared. I'm down the road from that spot as well, and the last thing I need is to start adding naval forces before the land forces are done. You know how easily I am tempted and now the idea is planted! Have to finish the land forces first! |
