Thought Samurai wore silk? Why so dark? Sorry but, it looks like 3 colors and one highlight on each of these. |

Why so dark? We are spoiled by the imagery of the Ii Clan Red Devils and their bright red outfits. In fact most samurai armour was black or brown.
But I get what you are saying. Half my Samurai are Red Devils just because they look so colourful. |

@Skipper John: the 1200s samurai armor and under-cloth tended to be really bright, had lots of lacing. But these Samurai are from the late 1500s, after nearly 400 years of continuous warfare. Simplified lacing with fewer colors. |
