….the Holocaust Over Two Years Earlier Than Previously Believed.

"Documentation has been discovered at the United Nations that shows the Allies were aware of the Holocaust two and a half years before previously assumed.

In December 1942, the governments of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Soviet Union were aware that two million Jews had been exterminated by the Nazis and that five million more were in danger of being killed. The three governments began preparing charges to convict Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders of war crimes. They did not, however, do anything to help the prisoners in concentration camps or those seeking asylum to escape the genocide.

Nothing new. They knew of the rumors as soon as it started and certainly could verify the concentration camps.

How, at the height of the war in 1943, could Britain etc. have aided the Jews in Europe? They were in areas that were totally in enemy control.

Exactly, until 1945 there was nothing they could do about it.

Several years ago someone took the time to daily post the front page from the NY Times corresponding to the day of the year beginning in the 1930's all the way to the end of the war. Reading it daily showed that the persecution of Jews was apparently well known. If anything could have been done about it is another story.

The decision was that ending the war was the only way to end the slaughter. Probably right in reality. Certainly Soviet Russia would not stretch their plans and resources to prevent the transportations.
