Looking for long term paint service (s) for 18mil Napoleonic – too old, can't do it anymore. Prefer the painting styles to be simple, clean 'toy soldier' type. I will no doubt gloss them the second I put my hands on them. (Howls of indignation).
Thinking Fernando but am concerned with 5 or 6 different painters doing the brush work and looking 'natty'. (I am anal retentive in this regard). Thinking couple thousand over 2- 2&1/2 years or so.
Advise? I am very Leary of doing this but I have no choice now.

Hi,

I'm full time, being painting and running my business for years. All the work is my own except when I hire a little helper to prep and undercoat on larger 28mm orders.

Im UK, but plenty of experience sending to the US over the years.

My site –

And my Facebook page with regular updates –

I have always had excellent results from DJD.

I have been painting 15mm 7YW miniatures for a few years now for a client. I am fairly reasonable and I can show some pictures of my work. I am US based if that is what you are looking for.

Myself and a friend sent figures to Fernando and were disappointed. Never used them again. Here is my howl of indignation:

I would rather not paint my figures at all than to use gloss. It screams beginner paint job. Looks cheap and looks terrible in games. I have to look away so as to not become ill. But it is your money and your figures. But you should know better.

This concludes my howl of indignation. In fact I believe I upgraded to righteous howl of indignation.
